Multiplayer Grid is a popular and brand new two player game based on the hit UK based TV show game. The player who finishes with most cash wins the game.
The main objective of
the game is to complete the three holes
with the fewest number of strokes.
With three courses to choose from -
Royal
Dunes,
Mesa
Canyon,
and Mountain Quarry - and a photo-realistic
3D engine, you'll want to change into
your tam-o'-shanter and green plaid
pants before playing!
Game Rules
There are three courses
offered in 3-Hole Golf. All games in
a given tournament use the same course.
The name of the course appears in the
tournament name.
The three courses
are: Mountain Quarry ("a highland
golf adventure")
Mesa Canyon ("an extreme desert
layout")
Royal Dunes ("a classic links
style course")
Aim and then take
your shot. Continue driving until
you reach the green,
and then continue putting until you
sink the ball.
If your ball lands
in a water hazard, you will get a
penalty stroke, in
addition to returning to the starting
point of that shot.
Game Scoring
You start with 1000
points for each hole. 100 points are
subtracted for each stroke. So if you
take 10 strokes to reach the cup, you
get 0 points for the hole.
In addition, "tie breaker" points
are awarded on the Par 3 hole. You
receive between 0 and 99 points, depending on your distance from the pin after
your first stroke on the Par 3 hole:
Tie Breaker Bonus = (99)(Total Yardage
- Distance from Pin in Yards*)/(Total
Yardage)
